I became a social media coordinator for the official League of Ireland social pages to provide matchnight coverage, for the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier and First Divisions.
My role involves delivering real-time updates, key moments, and engaging content to keep fans informed and connected to the action.
The type of content I share:
Pre-match: Team sheets, manager interviews and scene-setting imagery.
In-game: Key moments such as the first goal from each fixture, penalty saves and sending offs using WSC Sports Al Clipping tool. Score updates on X and Insta/Facebook stories.
Post-match: Full-time scores and updated league standings using Opta Graphics aswell as manager reactions.

I create graphics from Opta Graphics and create short and snappy captions to help engage the league’s audience.
